Hi there, Ivan of the Ozarks here. I may blog a lot about food. Especially BBQ or Bar-b-que or barbeque however you like it. I was born in Oklahoma and now I live in Pennsylvania but my adopted home town is now Eureka Springs Arkansas, I have a Lodge out that way on Beaver Lake called Ursa Minor, and I have lots of friends out that way. I am not lucky enough to live out on the lake, right now I live most of my time in Greencaslte PA. It's a nice town, heck it's down right wholesome, Eureka Springs is way more fun with all the old hippies, artists, and eccentrics.
Mostly I do web site programming in ASP and now PHP too. I recently found that I do like PHP even through it has a goofy C like syntax, what I like about it is that it's straight forward and not one of those dang object oriented languages like Microsoft's stuff. I mean dang! in PHP if you want to write a file or make a folder there is a one line command with Microsoft it takes about 4 or 5 lines of code or more to setup the object and stuff, give the command, then you need to close the object - by then you got carpal tunnel syndrome.
